This is brother Yuri:
And today i ask you to rememberer one fact brothers and sisters, that open rebellion is not the only way to defeat GDI, for our strongest weapon against the tyranny of GDI is still the word of Kane, and the greatest tool in our struggle towards ascension.
Alright, you fucks, I’m going to start taking this blog seriously now. This world is fucked up, and we are responsible. I talk to God, and so do a lot of you. Those that don’t talk to God are the ones fucking up the Earth. I mean, it’s all part of the cycle, right? Just like Krishna taught Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita - let the warriors be warriors, it’s what they were born to do! ~ well, I was born to love. So I am going to LOVE the FUCK out of this planet ad infinitum.

Anonymous asked: Can we all agree on how new atheism and positivsm are bullshit and go on actually analyzing religions and the ideology they perpetuate?( especially monotheistic theism and cristianity( which is used to legitimate liberal democracy in Germany for example). The ten commandtments directly maintain private property and patriarchy among other things. And can one even seperate the concept of a personal creator and transcendental, eternal truths from hierarchy?
And I know it’s all been done before by Marx, Nietzsche and others major influences on leftism but whenever someone tries to criticize religion on here it’s being either dismissed as positivsm or said to be none of their business because beliefs are too personal a thing( especially when it comes to Islam). And I’m not referring to go-to-church-lol. People are seriously quick to over-generalise and take sides
i think one has to analyze religion in a materialist light, and that means it’s not enough to simply look at holy texts and critique them. religions are lived traditions and what really matters is how they manifest themselves today, which is in a form neccesarily different to holy texts much of the time - indeed there’s enough contradictions within a lot holy texts that literalism is basically impossible and one has to choose what to take on board and what to treat as symbolic.
personally i think the problem people on here have isn’t with critiques of religion per se, i think it’s that it often crosses the line into bashing people for being religious, which is completely counterproductive and pointless. i remember around the time pope francis was elected, numerous people criticized the catholic church and the papacy in a way which was precise and didn’t attack catholics themselves, for example.
the singling out of islam as a “special case” which is worse than the others is also a pretty new atheist thing, and based in a certain orientalist fantasy of what islam is much of the time.
wait, how do the ten commandments uphold private property and patriarchy?
"Covet" means "yearn to possess" so I think not coveting your neighbour’s wife is pretty reasonable, same goes for your neighbours house. Yes it presupposes that your neighbour is male but it isn’t intrinsic to the point being made, which is all about the coveting.
In fact since capitalism rests on coveting what we can’t have, and operates through thievery and murder as well as systematically bearing false witness, I would say that capitalism is incompatible with the ten commandments.
God has been working with us fuckers since the beginning of mortality.
